Nikon F-601 aka N6006

Esta foi-me oferecida pelo meu tio Jorge Sá Dantas.

Quando soube que eu estava a coleccionar câmaras, chamou-me a sua casa e deu-me esta Nikon F-601, com a objectiva zoom AF Nikkor 35-70 mm 1:3.3-4.5  e uma bela Rollei A110, da qual falarei no próximo artigo.

Esta câmara foi fabricada pela Nikon, a partir de 1990, é o meio termo entre a F-401 (N4004) e a F-801 (N8008),  mas como foi lançada dois anos depois da F-801 tem alguns melhoramentos, especialmente o foco predictivo.
Foi a primeira câmara da Nikon a empregar baterias de lítio, do tipo 6V CR-P2. 

É uma câmara de agradável utilização, com o seu foco automático, talvez um pouco lento, pelos padrões actuais, mas o telémetro electrónico, como ajuda ao foco manual, é muito útil, com pouca luz ou situações complicadas, pode ser usada com a maioria das lentes Nikkor.
O sistema de medição de luz é excelente: leitura inteligente (matrix) de cinco segmentos, ponderação central ou pontual.
Os modos de exposição cobrem praticamente tudo: Exposição totalmente automática, com duas opções Pm e P, prioridade à velocidade ou à abertura e manual. Infelizmente sem indicações do fotómetro em modo manual. 
O flash incorporado pode ser usado como flash de preenchimento ou como flash principal, para distâncias curtas. Quando preciso de fazer fotografias com flash uso o meu SB-28, que sincroniza perfeitamente com ela, mesmo em modo TTL, pode também ser usado um SB-23, SB-24...

Como podem ver na foto acima, os comandos têm a disposição a que Nikon nos habituou nos anos 90.

Se tiver que apontar um ponto fraco será o avanço do filme em modo continuo, apenas 2 fps, a minha F-301 (N2000) de 1985 já atingia os 2,5 fps. De qualquer forma não é uma função que eu use muito, o filme, hoje em dia, está muito caro para grandes desempenhos.

Note: Frequent use of the flash, or exposure meter, AF motor, etc. (activated by lightly pressing the shuuter release button) may weaken the battery faster than indicated above.

Battery power confirmation:Battery power is sufficient if shutter speed and aperture indications appear on the LCD panel and viewfinder by turning on or by lightly pressing shutter release button, and remains on for approx 8 sec. after finger is removed from the button; battery power is insufficient if these indications turns off immediately after finger is removed from the button; if LCD blinks and shutter does not operate, battery is exhausted or improperly loaded

  1. bela maquina, o meu pai tem uma desde 1990, adquirida numa feira internacional de foto na belgica a onde estava a ser apresentada e custou na altura 90 contos hoje trabalha com flach sb-30 pois o incorporado já éra, altamente resistenta ao choque e grande fiabilidade, faz uma boa foto.
